About Me
I'm Leslie Owens
I'm a Toxins & Environmental Specialist, Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (BCHHP) and some other titles but what's more important is that I'm a Mom.
I'm a Mom that has been where you are. When my sons were really young (1 and 4) I started noticing there was something going on with both of them, but their symptoms were different and I didn't put it together then. I was a first time Mom and thought perhaps this was normal, afterall all checked out well at their pediatrician's office and the oldest was in preschool bringing home all those germs.
My oldest started having epic tantrums, complaining of leg pain that we thought were growing pains, and had this fever/diarrhea/vomiting thing that would last 24-36 hours every 30 days. The pediatrician would say it was a stomach bug every time until I pushed back because no one else was sick and let's face it, stomach bugs are highly contagious. So my push back landed my oldest an anxiety diagnosis. 🤯
In the meantime my youngest is showing developmental delays which included sensory issues, reflux, low muscle tone affecting his ability to sit and walk on time, and a flat affect. He was a good baby, sleeping well and never really crying, but looking back that may have been a sign.
My husband started with these awful itchy eyes, worsening of asthma, and respiratory infections.
Me...doctors couldn't control my blood pressure. They would put me on one medication, it would work for a short period of time, and then they were changing it again. So I used the side effects of those medications, having two young boys, and my hormones being all over the place as the excuses to why I was feeling like shit. Not like myself. I had this relentless leg pain, fatigue, and brain fog that came and went until it no longer went....only stayed.
Many, many doctors later, normal lab results, and medications offered to cover up my symptoms, and I was fed up. This doesn't even account for the number of doctors the rest of my family saw...all to give us no answers. It would take a health detective (like myself) to ask the question to lead us down the path of questioning our home......how is everyone else? Not in a general way, but in a very specific way and now I ask this of every client I work with. I am now the health detective. My pain brought me here.....to my purpose.
If anyone else in the home has ANY symptoms (often not the same ones) or a diagnosis of any kind, you deserve to find out WHY.

This program is fantastic! One of the things I love about it the most is you go at your own pace through the e-learning modules. There were some weeks that I would do several of the learning modules and other weeks I would take my time reviewing and going over the same one where I felt like I needed the most help. This lab can be ordered for you or someone in your family. Consultation

VCS Test (Visual Contrast Sensitivity)
Visual contrast sensitivity testing measures your ability to see details at low contrast levels and is often used as a nonspecific test of neurological function. It was developed to test acuity in fighter pilots in the military and then was adopted by Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker as a screening tool for biotoxin exposure. This test indicates, with 92% accuracy if you are being exposed to mold. It's a piece of the puzzle.
